| An open letter to the firefighting experts and firefighting professionals
Hello ! every firefighting expert and firefighting professional . I am a Chinese inventor ,as a nongovernmental firefighting-tech worker ,I ask you two questions about selfrescue in building fires .
First , when people are trapped in a building fire , is it necessary for them to take actions of selfrescue ? and should be there any professional selfrescue-instruments provided?
Secondly ,if there should be some kinds of professional selfrescue-instruments provided, then what elements should the selfrescue-instruments have ?
No offence ，but to be frank . any firefighting experts who have never thought about the two questions above should be negligent .All the firefighting experts have their duty to give people more and more safety in their lives.
Perhaps someone will retort ：“ there were many kinds of professional self-rescue gears earlily , such as rope-escape systems , escape ladders and so on . how can you say there are not professional selfrescue instruments ? ”But have you ever thought why the rope-escape systems and escape ladders can`t be popularized as well as smoke-alerts and fire extinguishers ? Because if you take escape ladders as your selfrescue gears ,how can you be sure that you will never hurt the people who are also escaping at the same time below your floors ? people below your floors maybe hurted when you spread down your ladders .Another question ,you will never be able to stop the people below your floors who will take your ladders , when there are too many people on your ladders ,your ladders will be broken ………… All in one word ,there are too many un-definitive and uncontrolled things in using them as selfrescue gears .As to the rope-escape system , it is just a professional gear for those professionals (such as firefighters , climbers ,etc .) , the common people can`t use it without training . Besides ,if there are ten or more rope-escape systems in one place ( people may escape at the same time from every floors of the buildings), will the ropes be knotted or will they twine together ?
Surely, if you think it is impossible that there will be any kinds of feasible selfrescue instrumrnts for the people trapped in building fires , you would never thought about how to solve this problem either . But how do you conclude that there will never be any kinds of feasible selfrescue instruments ? There is a necessity ,there will be an invention to it , necessity is the mother of invention . On the other hand ,if you are trying to work out a solution to this selfrescue-problem , you should know clearly that what elements the solution should have , it is very important ,because it is the direction of your research work . Just like this , if you say you are looking for something ,but you don`t know what the things you are looking for would be like , then you will never find it !and you will miss it as well even if it is just in front of your eyes .
Drawing is the best selfvindication of an invention .As the drawings of a general machine device , there is not any difficulty in reading it , because drawing is the professional communication language of technician .I would never want to deceive , I just show my invention to the world and then let the world judge it .
