Hello,
My name is Kristi, i am 19 years old. I live in Belmont and have lived here my whole life. I am currently working mon/wed/fri as a swimming instructor in Redwood city at Peninsula Swim School, where i deal with ages 6 weeks and up. I have been employed there for almost 4 years, and have been highly recommended by many of my students families for my patience with children. I have also been recommended for my highly energetic personality and my love for children. I have babysat all ages of children from newborn to 12 and am very confident with any situation i am thrown in to. (considering how unexpected children are....hehe) I have also taken two years of child development classes and have college credits for them. i have also taken a Theories of personalities class (psychology). I want to eventually be a school teacher.I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and finger paint and will do LIGHT house keeping (dishes,cooking,laundry, vacuum)
I have a clean criminal record, and am willing to be tested for TB or anything else you wish. I have a 2000 honda, and a valid/clean driving liscence/record. I have tons of babysitting references and my current employer as a reference. I currently am nannying for a 7 month old on tues/thurs and need a mon/wed/fri position. I need at least 24 hours a week starting at $15 an hour. I can take your child swimming at the swim school, to the park, on play dates, to the library, etc.
I do have a few hide-able tattoos, and a small lip piercing. Nothing that is too scary to override my great child care and personality ( i dont think). Overall I am looking to quit my current job of soaking in chlorine(hehe otherwise known as teaching swimming) , for nannying for a family who cares about me as much as i will be caring for their child.
