Description of Personality: To start I am very intelligent, trusting, friendly, open-minded and open-hearted, and mature. I embrace all lifestyles and cultures, and don't discriminate. Description of Experience: My most rewarding experience has been volunteering at a child crisis center for the past four years. I have experience teaching, at a preschool, day care, and Sunday schools. I've had two nanny jobs for different families, and have been baby-sitting since I was ten or eleven. I have a total of nine years experience to date. I have taken a child development class, and was once CPR and First Aid certified (they have since expired, but I am more than willing to get recertified). I can also offer my services as a house-keeper, personal assistant, and/or a cook!
Childcare style: What I look to do when working with a child is create a fun environment for them to learn in. Whether it be a new game, sport, craft, art, or school subject, fun is the key to helping them learn. I love to sing and dance and read with the children. But I also know when its time to stop playing, and time to get serious (i.e. nap/bed/dinner time).
