If you are interested in joining a group of women who are focused on growing their businesses and you are looking for a supportive, non-competitive environment where you can feel comfortable talking and sharing with other like-minded women, consider joining "WE", the peninsula's Women's Entrepreneur group. Women who are new in business, have been in business for years, or who are currently just in the dream stage of their business are welcome.
Group meetings are held once per quarter, on the third Thursday of the month, from 7-9 p.m., at a hotel in Burlingame. Sometimes we have a speaker from inside or outside of the group or we just share our business experiences and leads with each other. Because we are all so busy, meetings are only four times per year, but our goal is to build a network of women who can interact with each other at meetings and also during other times during the month if so desired (via email or even possibly other functions).
Our primary goal is to help each other on our separate, but similar, paths to success and to offer support to each other. There is no requirement for membership except a committed effort to attend the quarterly meetings. There is no fee except for the cost of your dinner or beverage at the hotel restaurant.
