scrapped the inadequate existing ArcServe backup solution, and designed and
implemented a new enterprise level backup system using Veritas Software Backup
Exec for Windows and multiple automated tape libraries.

Administration of Exchange 5.5 for over 250 users on 3 servers.
Manage migrations of user accounts and eventually shut down Vantive’s Exchange
servers because PeopleSoft used Lotus Notes.

Enterprise level systems administration
of Windows 2000, Windows NT domains.

Rolled
out an IIS Intranet web server to support the Veritas backup solution. Site
included help files, configuration, licenses, contacts, vendors, tape container
information, and forms for backup requests.

DNS, DHCP and WINS server configuration and maintenance.
Configuration of DHCP scopes and monitoring address usage, creating DNS entries
and maintaining WINS servers.

Resolved
NetBIOS problems resulting from incorrect WINS server address, improper DHCP

Domain security holes. Removed over 100 domain administrators. Implemented
account expiration policies and forced password changes.

Setup
new labs for software development teams. Used Norton Ghost to create images of

creation on the NT domain and Unix systems. Reorganized patch panels,
color-coded by subnets.

Mass deployment using imaging software and network installations

images to save time rolling out new servers.

Manipulate
and maintain hosts file on the Unix SMTP server for mail delivery and aliases.
