Windows Software Engineer
The Windows Software Engineer implements and maintains applications and system level software for use on OQO devices. Reports to the Manager of Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications and user-interface enhancements specific to OQO products.
Develop and maintain business-specific applications for the support department and manufacturing on an as-needed basis.
Maintain currently shipping applications.
Provide Windows-level development assistance to other departments as needed.
Generate documentation and technical/functional specifications as needed.
requirements
Knowledge and love of your craft.
Clear communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Minimum of 2 years experience developing in C/C++.
Minimum of 4 years experience developing Windows applications.
Some knowledge of developing system services and/or drivers a big plus.
Experience interfacing with hardware a plus.
