Position Summary:
Help define, implement, and execute automation strategies for Acrobat products on all supported platforms and languages. Evaluate, design, and build automation for white box and black box testing. Identify and leverage tools and test materials from other Adobe QE teams or from third parties.
Educate and coordinate with other Acrobat quality engineers on automation responsibilities. Positively influence the design and implementation of functional areas and review the test coverage of the automated test cases. Work closely with Acrobat Development, review functional specifications, and analyze functional areas that can automated.
In addition, continuously maintain and improve the automation tools and corresponding infrastructure and servers.
Knowledge & Skills::
* BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
* 5 years of relevant work experience that includes both black-box and white-box testing in cross-platforms environments.
* Industry experience in programming and/or scripting languages (i.e. C, C++, JavaScript, Java, etc.) is required.
* Experience in building tools for both black box and white box testing.
* Familiarity with Windows and Mac platforms.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work under pressure, independently, and within a team.
