To tell you the truth, no one knows for sure, even the Australian prime minister is scurrying to India to get more details on the N-deal.
But if i were to voice my opinion, I'd say that Bush has made a clever step for America's future. America is least concerned about India it's truly worrying over "communist" China.
Whats all this talk over outsourcing to India? We only have your tech jobs, the majority of jobs that have disappeared are manufacturing that has gone to China, Mexico, etc.
If a company doesnt outsource its jobs to other countries, it leaves a huge opportunity for any Tom or Dick to start a competing company with the product imported from a factory in China! This is an inevitable economic process!
And i really think bush sdministration is having palpitations over China, and i believe their aim is to destabalise the east asian region and strain relations between india and china. USA would have less to worry about if China would be kept busy with India. China is immensely strong and it would be next to impossible for USA to challenge its growing might!
But really, this is just a guess, but i'm sure the true nature of this deal will come to face soon.
