Just admit you bought it basically so you could drive in the carpool lane. Well news flash...I drive in the carpool lane for FREE. And anyone can do the same. Even if folks managed to rack up 10 tickets, thats only about half of what you wasted buying that Prius over a Corolla.
I would have been happy to buy an American vehicle, I tried; but they were all CRAP!
Cant disagree with you there, too much. But if you are in the "shitbox" market segment, all the cars are pretty much crap; but some of them are slightly nicer pieces of crap. The Honda and Prius both fall into the high end of the "shitbox" category.
So look for me as I breeze by you on the freeway and at the gas pump; shake your fist and post lame shit here on Craigslist.
Actually Im laughing because you just blew like 10K extra on that thing. You could have taken a nice trip somewhere, bought some cool toys, instead you bought into the hype and wasted your money. Im actually not happy, its kind of sad, that people waste their hard earned money on trendy scams like hybrid cars. But I guess enriching the corporate pukes over at Toyota is better and more helpful to the world than just giving the 10K to the needy, or to save the rainforests, or to sponsor a starving child.
