So I'm finally dragging my sorry midwestern-dwelling queer ass back to the bay area... and in the process leaving all of my lovely dyke friends behind. What's a girl to do?
Post on CL, of course. I've met some fantastic people through this board and I'm hoping to do so again.
After I arrive the 2nd weekend in April, I'll be attending events such as: The dyke pub crawl(!), hot pants, fairy butch fiestas, white diamonds, bootie, Club ID, and Ladytron (4/28).........
Hanging out at: The lex, cafe trieste, amoeba, BoTH, the hemlock, club mallard, MOMA, and pretty much anywhere they serve some of the following - liquor, food, music, art, and people watching - I'm not picky.
And doing other things, such as: Walking my dog - often and at length, catching up with old friends, watching movies, cooking as often as possible for as many people as possible, finding housing, buying furniture, and being blissed out to be back on my old stomping grounds. And hopefully meeting some lovely new folks.
So yeah. I get a kick out of the hipster scene (a few more plug gages and I get my indie merit badge) but I'm pretty down to earth in general. If any of the above sounds appealing, drop me a line and let's hang out this spring. Cheers.
