Hello! We are looking for a wedding photographer for our wedding in Marin County on Sunday, August 27, 2006. The kind of photographer we are looking for would match most or all of the following profile:
- Enthusiastic for our event
- Passionate about photography
- Special touch for capturing people and spontaneous moments
- Impeccably professional
- Focused on photojournalistic and spontaneous shots
- Able to orchestrate formal shots (these will be minimal)
- Indoor and outdoor techniques
- Significant prior wedding experience, with references
- Must have portfolio, prefer if we can look at this on line as a first step
- Must have high end digital equipment (e.g. Canon 5D/20D or Nikon equivalent) with backup of the same
- Must be able to meet us in San Francisco to plan/discuss
- Experience with a Jewish wedding is a bonus but it is not required
We are interested in hiring you for your talents in shooting the wedding, rather than printing services or albums. As such, it is very important that we get all of the original high resolution JPEGs that are taken. Here are the services we are looking for:
- 8 hours of coverage, 100% digital
- DVD with all original high resolution JPEGs with one month of the event. Expected number of shots between 500 and 1000.
- DVD with 100 select shots retouched in Photoshop and print ready, within 3 months of the event. These must also original/high resolution JPEGs
If you are good at printing, we may hire you after the wedding for prints and albums, but for now, this job is just for shooting!
