I need someone to convert a simple working web site I built in MS Publisher (gasp!) into some clean html code as well as to add some functionality for me. I’m not really technical but I think you would use html, css and javascript for this. The site is a direct response site that I drive traffic to using paid search and other online advertising. The main new functionality that I need is tracking related. I need to be able to pass parameters that are in the entry url into the url of the links on my site for tracking purposes. For example, if the user came to the site from “furniture.com?kw=chair” I might want to append “kw=chair” to all the links on my site. I also need the flexibility to make certain changes to the site myself going forward including swapping out links.
This is not really a design project as I know what I want the site to look like. I do, however, need someone to implement what I want and then make it look a little nicer, too. I’m looking for someone who has built this kind of functionality before.
I am an experienced internet entrepreneur and if this project goes well there will definitely be a lot more work and the potential for a full-time gig if you’re interested. Please let me know your experience (resume would be nice) and your rate. Thanks.
