We are an online publisher and we build a LOT of commercial websites geared towards search marketing for several industries including finance and insurance. We are looking for several designers who can do about 3-4 sites a month. (We would rather work with an independent contractor than go through a firm.)
We expect clean, creative, and usable website design (and underlying html code!). We request that you create files that we can manage and edit within Dreamweaver - maximizing use of its templates and libraries. This would require you to create the site design mock-up in Photoshop or related graphics application, and then slice that design into HTML.
Site elements include:
- typically between 4-7 templates per site with minimal changes in each template (mainly images and navigation).
- css style sheet
- some type of quote box design
* To clarify: we do not need you to create the whole website. All we need are the templates and we can take it from there.
We are open to starting at flat project pricing and moving to per hour pricing once we are comfortable with your style and pace of development.
