It is easy to love great creative as it is tangible where as great technical is invisible.
Often there gap between the creative and the technical that quite often results in compromises on the technical. These compromises can hinder the growth and potential of the web site and/or web based application.
There needs to be a change as the two are really one, a web site that achieves and exceeds its set goals and purposes within.
I am a specialist that develops web applications focused not on the technologies, but the end user with the delivery of intelligent web sites and an emphasis on user experience.
Where I fit in is to provide a fusion between the creative and the technical.

Creative/Design
My background is not that of a typical web developer. I grew up in advertising and was a photographer working for advertising agencies and designs groups in Australia. My move into web development was an evolution.
- Earned an Associate Diploma in Graphic Design, majoring in Photography
- Able to work with the design team as well as lead the technical team
- Able to conceptualize a web site and work with designers to achieve the end result
- 10 years experience within the advertising industry as a location photographer involved in all aspects of creative, from idea to execution.
Web Based Programming

Career Highlights
- Being able to work with high profile clients such as Sony in a true global sense with ASK Learning, the majority of my projects were for Australian and Singapore based projects
- Acknowledged by Crime Stoppers International for developing the worlds first anonymous reporting of crime online in a secure environment
- Worked on several Sydney 2000 Olympics related projects
- Was an advisor to the NSW Government on internet standards and helped implement web site policies and standards
- The NSW Police were the first major government department to use of ColdFusion for their web site and intranet, ColdFusion Version 3, based on my recommendations
- Involved with the first 3G telecommunications launch in Australia, Hutchison’s Three network
- Continual development on inSite CMS that is currently being used on over 35 web and intranet sites with new clients coming on board through my Australian representative
- Presenting to conferences around Australia on the topics; site statistics, migrating to a dynamic web site and content management systems
- Developed an open source surf judging system breaking the hold the ASP Australia has over Australian surf competition systems.
