SAM: Sam is generally an amiable pooch. He seems to enjoy his walks through the park with volunteers. He's interested in all the activities he encounters such as a game of frisbee and would no doubt be happy to join in. He walks well on the leash and seeks out some affectionate pats as he strolls along. Sam does pull when he sees another dog however it seems to be interest rather than aggression. He's a social fellow. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/sam_00.html
*URGENT* FLYNN: Flynn is what you would see in the dictionary under, "dog." He is big and strong, a real doer, acutely interested in his environment and all the potential that every day holds for exploration. Flynn sits and heels on command and is very eager to please and become part of a family environment. He would do best in a household with children 12 and up. He can be reactive with some dogs (and he loves to chase the cats and squirrels) so Flynn is probably not a dog park candidate at this time. Flynn would do best as a single pet, but in time could "graduate" to becoming compatible with another dog. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/flynn_a.html
HENRY: Henry is absolutely, positively charming!! When you've pulled your gaze away from those hypnotic, icy-blue eyes of his, after meeting him in the flesh (or in the fur), you'll discover a gentle, smart, witty, endearing, super-friendly, quiet, playful boy. Henry is very treat-motivated ~ He knows "Sit", and will gladly offer you a paw, he takes treats gently from your hand, and he enjoys the occasional play-wrestle match. He doesn't pull much on leash, he's fine around some dogs, and he'd be best suited to a household with older children. Graham is very happy, affectionate and friendly. He is a little jumpy but not mouthy. He seems okay with other dogs so far, but we didn't try him out with cats. Since he is mostly Border Collie, probably he best would not placed with young children. Graham needs a foster home or a forever home! http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/graham_00.html

DELTA: Beautiful female lab mix available. Approx. 2 years old, spayed and has had her shots. Delta is a sleek beauty, strong, friendly, energetic and ready to bond with a new person. She is young and curious, loves the out-of-doors, and a good run. Delta appears curious towards other dogs (she is bit "alpha"), does fabulous in the car, and will shower you with lots of face licks and loyalty! A home with kids 6 yrs. and up is recommended due to her size and enthusiasm. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/delta_00.html
**URGENT** HERB: This sweet older guy hasn't been so well taken care of in his lifetime. Despite being obviously neglected, Herb is a really nice dog. He'd make a good family dog or a dog for a single someone looking for an undemanding companion. Herb is a low to moderate activity dog and won't require extreme sports to stay sane. He just needs some TLC and attention and a respite in his golden years. A worthier creature could not be found. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/herb_3.html
*URGENT* DELLA: Hooray! What a doll! Della is the sweetest, most affectionate creature you'll ever meet. She is easy on leash and downright fabulous with people. She is good with other dogs, too. She won't require a ton of exercise and will make a fabulous addition to just about any home that is not looking for a companion for 20 mile hikes. She is just an overall easy, turnkey pet. http://www.virtualpetadoptions.com/find_cat_detail.asp?petId=27270&gateway=find&catId=26&ShelterId=31
HARPO: Harpo is a sensitive, mellow guy who is looking for a kindred spirit to spend time with. His hobbies include plate cleaning, exercise support companion and virtual property guarding! He bonds quickly to his caregiver, and feels he would be best in an adult only home. After all, he's a sensitive guy. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/harpo01.html
RUBY: Ruby is a lovely, gentle, young dog who's had a ROUGH life so far. She was hit by a TRAIN as a puppy and had to have a leg amputated, but she's still spry, sweet, gentle and wonderful!!! Ruby is good with ALL other animals, and just needs some TLC. Ruby is still quite shy with strangers, but is smart and capable of changing, as we all are! Please consider her. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/ruby_1.html
SPENCER: Spencer is a one-year-old shepherd mix. He is a playful, energetic guy. He wants a family who'll shower him with affection and spend time with him. He is sweet and bouncy, and likes water. He can hike for quite a while without tiring and would be great for people who love adventure as much as he does. He gets along with other dogs, but can get a little mouthy at times when playing, so he may not be good with very small children. http://www.homeatlastrescue.org/html/dogs/spencer_11.html
