Wanted: Multi-Tasker for job with rotating responsibilities with The Water Store/ U.S. Pure Water Corp.
Help us fill in the gaps!
Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds occasionally, and 30-40 pounds regularly.
Must have basic computer and typing skills.
WAREHOUSE, DISPATCH AND FIELD ASSISTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION
Receive shipments, put away stock
Sort and organize parts from vans and warehouse. general organization & cleaning
Ship out orders & check off against computer records & troubleshoot lost orders, shipping problems etc.
Help prepare equipment daily for techs to bring for jobs in the field
Repair or Troubleshoot equipment (under supervision) brought in for repair
Perform water tests for customers
Prepare items ordered by the store & help coordinate pick up and delivery schedule.
Substitute at store very occasionally
Help technicians in the field for jobs that require two people (system installations & repairs, filter changes), and sometimes solo.
Answer phones when situated for that (responsibility shared by all staff). Direct or take the call.
Help customers on phone w/ sales and technical questions. Fill orders if applicable. Create a customer invoice if necessary, and update database accordingly.
Call and notify customers of filter replacement needs for pick up or ship.
Schedule: 8:30-5 or 9-5:30, except if working the store or in the field demands change in schedule. Ability to work occasional weekend days (on emergency basis only) would be appreciated but not required.

Headquartered in Novato, with a retail outlet in Greenbrae, and customers all over the Bay Area and beyond. We provide residences, businesses and idustry with high quality drinking water treatment equipment at the point of use.
You:
·Mechanical aptitude & interest, especially in plumbing and/or water treatment.
·Attention to detail, organizational skills, thoroughness and accountability in your work, with easy going disposition.
·Clean DMV record, good driver.
·Attention to safety precautions for lifting, squatting, bending. etc.
·Enjoy working with the public in a variety of situations- Phone, retail, field.
·Problem Solver, troubleshooter
·Good judgment. Know your limitations and when to ask for help. Team player.
·Good communication skills, personable, clean presentation.
·Type at least 25 wpm, familiar with mouse and keyboard commands, and basic principals of database.
Will train eager learners. Entry level $10 hr. Start, to be increased after training and trial period.
Experienced in water treatment/warehouse: $12-$15 Start DOE. Health Benefits & IRA plan for long term employees.
