Very successful San Francisco event production and marketing company is searching for an executive director to oversee all event management operations.
About Us

-Premier event marketing company, with 80+ events produced in the last 5 yrs.
-Existing community of over 30,000 past attendees in the Bay Area.
-We have strong business backgrounds and deep industry connections.
-We organize the city's hottest events, including venue Grand Openings, Fundraisers and NYE Parties.
-Company also has holdings in two high-profile nightlife venues that will be launched later this year.
About the Opportunity

-As the current management has expanding into venue ownership and other opportunities, we are looking for someone to take over and grow the core events business.
-First priority would be taking on management of a very busy schedule of cool events in 2006.
- The position will initially be part time, with the opportunity to make up to $5k per month while being your own boss, but the hope is to eventually grow the business to justify a full time position.
-Day to day work includes managing event production, interacting with PR firms, famous DJs, club and restaurant owners, coordinating event sponsorships, hiring event staff, managing ticket sales and overall day of event management.
-Opportunity to meet movers and shakers from the worlds of entertainment, high tech and other fields.
What We're Looking For
-----------------------
-Very social and ambitious self-starter.
-Undergrad degree in Business, Communications or Media preferred.
-You're usually the one organizing your friends for nights on the town.
- You've had one or more jobs in the corporate world, but looking for another path where you can be your own boss.
-Some experience in public relations, event marketing or nightlife management preferred.
- Solid interest in and knowledge of San Francisco nightlife, or a hunger to learn about it.
-Highly organized, aggressive and able to make decisions quickly.
-You will probably enjoy this job a lot more if your late twenties or early thirties, but all candidates will be considered.
-Experience with the Internet a big plus. (Web design, Email marketing, etc)
