Arriba Juntos is a non-profit training and employment organization that has been serving the community for almost 40 years. Our mission is "to promote economic self-sufficiency for San Franciscans and their families through occupational training and employment opportunities." We provide a wide range of training programs, such as the Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health aide, Automated Computer Skills, Homecare training, free computer classes in English and Spanish, Citizenship and Safe Haven Youth programs among others.
Arriba Juntos is looking for dedicated individuals who would like to volunteer some of their time as ESL, Math or English tutors for our Safe Haven program. Arriba Juntos Mission Safe Haven provides comprehensive employment and educational services to at risk youth between the ages of 11-18. Participants are offered after school tutorials, work readiness and life skills workshops, and job placement services when appropriate. Youth are also encouraged and guided through the process of enrolling in higher educational or vocational training programs.
