Basically, if you can speak, you can sing!!!
Learn to sing with ease and confidence~
Forget the theory that you can only sing if you are born
with the talent to do so. Currently accepting new students
for vocal training or coaching. Beginners especially encouraged.
I can help you with posture, alignment, breath,
projection, tone, phrasing, theory, and I can
provide the guidance and skill necessary for those with
fear of public performing and pitch difficulties.
My training is based in classical style singing
through private teachers from SF Conservatory and
Dominican College and education at SFSU, however, I have
also performed in a jazz trio, a gregorian women's choir,
a French cabaret ensemble, a delta blues group, and a
number of rock bands. In addition, I am a singer/songwriter
and compose original music that is a blend of rock, blues,
funk, and gypsy folk. I have studied acting and am a
hatha yoga instructor. My experience crosses the
spectrum of many styles of music and incorporates the body
to become the kind of singer you've always dreamt of being.
You will be provided with a practice CD to take home
on the 2nd lesson and I will make recordings of you
singing your choice material throughout the process
so that you are able to track your progress with lessons.
I offer reasonable rates for those with a burning
desire to express themselves through their voices.
$40 per 50 minute lesson, or $35 per lesson when
you purchase a package of 4 at once.
