I need 1 or 2 reliable Visual C++ programmers to help with a series of product fixes and enhancements to and existing software product.
There are a series of very short, separate projects ranging from UI (forms, graphics) fixes to video driver related. Ideal for someone with about 5 years experience; Any less and you might be too challenged; much more and you might be too senior for my budget ; )
Skillset/Experience required in one or more of the following:
+ Forms UI design (ie Data entry forms and dialog boxes etc)
+ Data/file manipulation, data validation - pretty standard stuff.
+ Other UI/GUI (coding) experience helpful
+ Experience with MFC helpful
+ Resourcefulness in finding solutions rather than re-inventing the wheel.
+ Programming experience enough to work with a mature code
base (documented about as well as most programmers like to document ; )
We've scoped out the improvements in a series of discrete projects, building on each other, with some separate enough for 2-3 to work in parallel.
This is NOT for consulting firms, outsourcing firms or even career consultants. It's just not that type of project. We're looking to meet some deadlines and at the same time work with individuals who may one day join us full time.
More information available of course. Again - this is paid on a per project basis (fixed cost). The more experienced you are, the less time it will take (thus effectively a higher rate). A great deal of importance is placed in reliability, integrity and overall entreprenuerial spirit.
