Each semester the academy would study a thematic unit and divide into groups and research a specific aspect of the broader theme. Those groups would then produce either a video program, a dramatic stage-based piece, or a computer based interactive media presentation. This program was then presented to the student body at the end of each semester. Funding for the program was made possible by a grant from the Autodesk Foundation
