Hello,
Some friends and I are a couple days away from finishing shooting a strange little dramatic short film.
It's the story of a eauropean girl who came to america to go to art school. On this day school has ended, her boyfriend and her are having trouble, she's a bit adrift, doesn't know what to do next and she mets an older man who just wants to find out about her home country, but things take an odd turn. It's mostly the story of her walking from the mission, to the bay, and how the things she encounters affect her state of mind.
I think the final product ought to be in the 15 minute range.
We've never made a movie before so I think it's ok if you haven't either.
We hope to submit to the local festivals including the san francisco festival of short films (deadline June 1st)
Editing ought to begin mid march adn continue through april.
I don't really care if you have a fancy system or if you just have imovie, as long as you know how to use it and are interested in collaborating on a kind of delicate, subtle piece.
We can't pay you but we can buy you beer and I promise we're more fun than a sitting around watching TV.
