You will be working for an inspiring woman disabled from MS, but living independently and very active within the community. THIS IS NOT A CAREGIVER POSITION. She already has a full support network assisting her at home, so your job is the fun part! You will help keep her home/office running smoothly, write letters and other correspondence, accompany her on outings to museums (the De Young and other events) attend Psychology seminars, tutor her on using the internet and operating a windows computer (voice activated!), and much more. This has the potential to grow into a position assisting in the professional psychotherapy field. Please respond in an email with your name, phone number, and a little bit about yourself and why you are interested. Thank you!
On a personal note: I have been lucky enough to do this job for the past three years, but am moving. She has the unique ability to utilize people’s strengths and will work with you to find balance between your abilities and her need. The more you put into this job, the more you will get out of it.
