TWO 4 Yr Old Male Illiger's Macaws- Bonded pair Macaws (paid $1500 each) must go as a pair. They are very much bonded mates and care for each other by grooming, feeding, and playing together. They have been tested so the gender is confirmed. They are "cousins" born at the same time from the same breeder. They came from one of the most reputatable Illiger breeders around. They are ideal for a previous bird owner that is ready to have the companionship again. They are very friendly and love to be part of the flock of the household.
These are hard to find Illiger's Macaw "Mini Macaw". Ours are friendy, hand raised, tame, talkative, and energetic. We love these guys, but our lives have changed, so cannot give them the time they need to be fair. They are so much fun and very quick to learn new words. We have all vet records for each. They are used to other animals in the house. We have a dog and cats. These guys are often referred to as thugs becasue they can and do defend themselves against threats. The introduction needs to be slow and supervised, but only you know your other animals.
They will come with two cages ($1400 value). We use one as their primary home and the other as an outdoor sunshine cage. Also, an indoor bird stand ($160 value), UV Full Spectrum light ($100 value), remainder of Harrison's Bird Food and lots of toys (~$200 value) will go with them too. They have always been on Harrison's and a fresh diet of organic fruits and vegetables.
