| I am a certified history teacher, grades 5-12, and am looking for a long-term nanny/tutor position, live-in or live-out. I have been involved in education for the past 15 years as a: parent volunteer; K-3 special ed. paraprofessional; full-time college student; substitute teacher, grades K-12; classroom teacher for a private, residential school serving the needs of students with learning disabilities; academic summer school teacher, history and English; and a full-time tutor. I have three children of my own, all attending college, so I am fully cognizant of the demands of raising children who are happy and well-adjusted. I respect children, and know how to make them feel significant and cared about. I developed a 200-page reference book to teach a prototype high school seminar on nutrition. I can cook nutritious meals, and believe in exercise and appreciating the great outdoors. I am very energetic, creative, nurturing, and responsible.
