We are looking for caring, patient and, most importantly, positive, adults (18 and over) to provide tutoring and support to residents at Your House South, a residential facility for youth temporarily unable to live with their families due to a crisis situation.
This is an excellent opportunity to serve as a positive adult role model, develop listening and peer counseling skills and to share your skills and experience with youth who need support.
Training is provided and staff is always on-site.
Requires a 1 ½ hour per-week, 6 month minimum commitment. Shifts are available Sunday - Thursday evenings. Must be at least 18 years of age.

About Your House South: Your House South provides 24-hour emergency and temporary housing for youth aged 10 to 17 whose families are in crisis. Youth are able to live at the shelter for 14-30 days, where they participate in a structured program that includes individual, group and family counseling. The goal of the program is to reunite the youth with their families. Your House South is a program of Youth and Family Enrichment Services (YFES).
