Hello my name is Silvia, I grew up in France within an Italian Family, I have experience catering and being a chef in my home country but I am starting in the San Francisco area. My specialty is healthy French and Italian cuisine, it can be hearty, sophisticated, romantic, light, or just exactly according to your requirements and needs of the occasion.

You will discover authentic flavors, you don’t have to go to a French or Italian restaurant, the restaurant is coming to you. Basically you have nothing to lose in trying my cuisine…you try it and see for yourself.

I pay a strong attention to the quality of the products I cook with. All the dishes are made from the freshest ingredients and imported products (when available). I work within your budget and dietary restrictions.

Appetizers and Salads:

1) Coquilles st. Jacques flamed with cognac (French traditional mixed seafood casserole)

2) Salmon and leeks quiche

3) Smoke salmon, grapefruit, avocado and endive, radicchio salad with citrus vinaigrette

4) Grilled Portobello salad w/ caramelized onions topped w/ melted fontina

5) Spicy salmon boulettes w/ ginger scallion sauce


Entrees:

1) Pollo all’arrabiata (chicken marinated and cooked in chianti wine w/ green olives and fresh tomatoes) served w/ homemade tagliatelle topped w/ basil, pine nuts, olive oil and parmesan cheese

2) Coq au vin (traditional chicken stew casserole cooked on red burgundy w/ carrots and mushrooms)

3) Pork Roast marinated w/ herbs served with corn galettes (like small pancakes) and its jus.

4) Homemade lasagna OR homemade cannelloni (stuffed w/ spinach and ricotta cheese or seafood)

5) Grilled swordfish topped w/ champagne vinegar and kalamata olive vinaigrette on fennel puree w/ coulis of tomato and baby artichokes fondue w/ quinoa pyramid


Desserts:

1) Tiramisu

2) Chocolate and pear tatin cake (chocolate cake w/ carmelized pears) served w/ crème anglaise

3) Tarte aux pommes (apple tart) OR tarte aux fraises (strawberry tart w/ vanilla custard)
