We are looking to fill an immediate part-time position as a truck driver to haul wood shavings from San Francisco to the Woodside and Palo Alto areas.
We will pay you $100 per trip.
Our 27' dumping trailer uses a 'walking floor" to dump it's load. It is essentially a standard delivery trailer with a floor that moves and shifts the contents out the back door of the trailer. It is simple and safe to operate.
We usually make this delivery about 2-3 times per week. It usually takes about 2-3 hours. Your compensation will be for the trip, not by the hour.
Your task is to connect the tractor to the trailer, connect the hydraulics, drive to the Peninsula, contact the customer, dump the load, return to San Francisco, unhook the trailer, and park the tractor.
Requirements:
* Only drivers with a Class A license and clean DMV record will be considered
* You must have 3 years experience driving semi-tractor and trailer
* Comfortable and confident driver able to maneuver in tight spaces
