Description JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for their own assigned traffic log(s) to be completed in an efficient and timely manner. The candidate will also be responsible for: the assigned day’s log by checking programming against the network feed, creates, imports, schedules, moves commercial spots, generates the log, and bulk adds PSA’s and Promo spots, enters copy rotations and contracts as needed, calls assigned overnight reports; and distributes reports. The Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for checking contracts and maintains client contract files. Administrative and reception desk duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma required. Training in Communications and/or Radio or Television in lieu of college degree, acceptable. Knowledge of Television Broadcast Traffic Systems highly desired. Must be computer literate.

Work Experience:
The ideal entry-level person will have 1-2 years of broadcast traffic experience or the equivalent in TV or Radio media environment. Marketron experience very helpful but not required. Experience should include production of logs, programming, and assignment of copy, or experience as an assistant in TV or Radio Sales. Requires heavy data entry, excellent time management skills, and ability to be self-motivated.

Basic Skills:
Must be computer literate with solid working knowledge of MS Office, Excel; type minimum of 55 WPM. Candidate must have good interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to maintain strong attention to detail. Must be flexible and adaptable to change on short notice. Bilingual fluency Spanish/English (both written and spoken) preferred, but not required.
