Description I’ve recently moved up from LA to work at a startup. I’m an engineer living in Silicon Valley. The reason I’m posting in SF City is a simple matter of market economics. What few single women we have here in Silicon Valley are in pretty high demand – and while I’m geeky, I’m apparently not geeky enough to impress them. Though I live in Silicon Valley, I love to come up to the city. Real neighborhoods like Sunset and North Beach are so much more interesting than Mountain View’s suburban sprawl. Case in point -- I live across the street from a Target and a Walmart.

A little about me: I spend my free time watching old movies (I’ve got a home theatre), doing roadtrips back to LA, and otherwise exploring the world nearby and further away. Recent trips were Japan, Hawaii, Singapore and Hong Kong. Last week I did a twelve mile hike near Pacifica. I’ve got diverse tastes in music – case in point: my two favorite albums are the soundtrack to Pulp Fiction and Pavarotti’s rendition of Pagliacci. While I don’t spend too much time in the kitchen, when I do the result is pretty good. Baking bread and hosting lobster nights for friends is are favored activities. I’m not too much into the party scene. You’re far more likely to find me at a coffeeshop reading the The Economist than stumbling around a bar during the evenings.

Let’s share our stories about high school band camp (I played percussion). Let’s check out the city’s nightlife. And let me be the one take you to the Presidio in the morning to watch people walk their dogs.
