The Cats' Inn: www.thecatsinnca.com is looking for reliable, mature adults to take care of our cats. Reliability is the most important thing here, for cats need attention and care every day of the year. Weekends and Holidays are required of everyone. This is a very emotionally and physically demanding job. Only serious applicants please.
A brief summary of the job duties are as follows:
. Be at work on time
. Clean up after the cats
. Feed the cats
. Entertain the cats
. Customer service skills are essential
. Light front office work; answering phones, recording reservations, filing
. Keep The Cats' Inn tidy and clean
. Take special care of our clients
. Be able to lift at least 50 Ibs
There are more specific duties also involved that you will learn while you are with us. We start the pay at $10 per hour. After 1 year, we will review your work performance and will give another raise.
The first month of work, your schedule may vary. We will then try to establish an ongoing regular schedule. This can change sometimes due to other employees' vacations, and we will work with you.
We try to make this an enjoyable job. If you need time off, we will allow it with notice. If you are ill and unable to come in to work you must call 24 hrs in advance and let us know. We try to accommodate your needs.
