Perform functional testing on digital audio recording equipment using Macintosh and IBM personal computers. Perform tests using in-house test software applications. Repetitive tasks include loading and unloading PCI cards into a Burn-in chamber and test chassis, MDA testing, hook up and test of rack mounted chassis. Visual inspection and functional test of sub-assemblies for control surfaces and other products. Input test data to the QA database. Recognizing failures, tagging and transferring to Debug for repair. Moving passing units to packaging and shipping. Performing various functions to insure that shipping schedules and production quality standards are met. Entry level position requiring some on the job training and supervision.
Good communication skills are necessary in order to appropriately interface with other Test personnel as well as Manufacturing Engineers and QA dept personnel.
