We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager. This is a full-time position. A Territory Sales Manager promotes and sells various food and supplies to Foodservice Operators within an assigned territory; is responsible for maintaining manufacturer sales quotas and is expected to grow new product sales all while adhering to company values and morals.
Duties to include:
1. Daily – Heavy street selling includes: maintaining and growing established business relationships and generating new business by cold calling and following up on provided leads.
2. Often - Ride/meet with manufacturer reps/managers on street sales calls or for one-on-one product training.
3. Daily – Weekly – Keep a sales call log and input into the FoodMark sales tracking system.
4. On-going - Set-up and promote/sell products at various food shows, trade events and company sponsored functions.
5. As needed – Order, collect and prepare samples for customer demos and competitive cuttings.
6. Monthly – Attend company sales meetings to learn about new products and to update the company on successes.
Requirements:
1. 2 – 5 years successful foodservice sales experience preferred.
2. Ability to manage and budget reimbursable selling expenses.
3. Be computer literate/internet savvy and have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook for e-mail purposes and ability to draft correspondence and send attachments as needed. FoodMark knowledge a plus.
4. Be an ambitious results driven individual who posses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
