Getting Published for Teens
This one day workshop focuses on what it takes to become a published writer. Teens will be walked through the process of publication. They will prepare one submission from conception and creation of an original piece, receiving feedback and performing revisions, to formatting submission, researching their market and submitting it for publication. Participants will receive a detailed listing of teen-appropriate marketplaces where they can submit their writings as well as explanations of publishing terminology to take home. This workshop is appropriate for young adults aged 12+. Workshop will be held 10 AM-2 PM, Saturday March 25th. Workshop fee is $80.
