Mr. Evens was brought in by Computer Resource Group as a consultant on a corporate-wide computer security and configuration management project. He researched and wrote the planning, design, and development specifications, and other project documentation in cooperation with the Chief Architect, Technical Leads, and Platform Analysts (based on ITIL reference).
He also established documentation standards, processes and methodologies, and communicated vital technical information throughout the project team. In conjunction with other consultants, he built Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers to test custom APIs and BMC InControl server agents and provided step-by-step procedures for duplicating the process for formal quality assurance (QA), testing and user installation.

Mr. Evens, as an independent consultant, lead a technically focused group of writers and analysts on specific project threads of the Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure project that was a reengineering of the entire bank's enterprise architecture. The project was to provide bank customers a means to access a “differentiated portfolio” of products and services that were componentized, integrated, and facilitated customer management of their own financial affairs via numerous delivery channels.
Mr. Evens researched and wrote white papers and presentations regarding OOD standards that received ovations from Bank of America and the Object Management Group (OMG). He produced and published CDs that compiled the project's knowledgebase into a hypertext-indexed vehicle for presentations, documentation dissemination, and marketing.

Mr. Evens managed performance reporting for Strategic Technical Services that provided developers, customers, and marketing with the information that supported PeopleSoft applications on various configurations of databases, hardware, and operating system platforms. He organized and facilitated a Lab Reporting Workshop for engineers and vendors to consistently, cooperatively, and, in a uniform manner (strict procedure), present findings that could be certified and eventually published.
Mr. Evens worked with engineers and vendors (IBM, Oracle, Sun, Sybase, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, etc.) accumulated, analyzed, organized, and presented information regarding application performance. He also provided feedback to engineers regarding potential processing problems, provided vendors with certified processing results, provided Marketing with published "Performance Reports" and provided information directly to customers regarding performance of specific applications, database, and hardware configurations.

Mr. Evens managed a staff of writers that produced a suite of documentation, curriculum, online help, and training material for a GUI front-end that interfaced with over 300 offices worldwide. The system provided payroll, employee tracking, applicant tracking, customer tracking, and other HR system functionality. His responsibilities also included managing publications regarding the Oracle Financial back-end that ran on DEC Alpha. He developed the writing style and started all the initial writing masters.
Mr. Evens traveled throughout the United States, implemented upgrades to the system, trained staff, and devised improvements to business strategies. He worked closely with the Help Desk and provided materials for customer support, customer relationship management (CRM). He also worked closely with the developer of a strategic prototype system (WIN+) that incorporated easier and faster entry for payroll, "Search and Retrieval," and capabilities for more rapidly filling jobs.
