Job description:
We are looking for a talented writer to update internal process documentation, maintain online help systems, document release note enclosures, and report customer satisfaction survey feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Interviewing internal subject matter experts
- Updating existing documentation
- Conducting documentation technical reviews
- Delivering clear, accurate, and accessible HTML documentation, which may include creation of new templates.
Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Technical Communications, English, Computer Science, or Journalism, or candidates pursuing a degree in these fields. Certificates acceptable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and meet project schedules
- Candidates must provide a project writing portfolio demonstrating experience in instructional design and process documentation, including HTML authoring.
Desired background:
- Conceptual familiarity with network security solutions.
- Familiarity with technology industry business functions. Software manufacturing and distribution a plus.
- Experience addressing multiple audiences and experience levels in a single document.
