JOB DESCRIPTION
• Technical support and application assistance for customers, Inside/Outside
Sales.
• Provide technical assistance on all SEI products. Be primary source for
specification, application and operation of SEI technical products.
• Cross reference products.
• Conduct in-house and customer seminars.
• Maintain product demos.
• Prepare product line stock orders.
• Attend training seminars and sales meetings.
• Perform related duties as necessary.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Electrical Engineering Degree or 3 years Control Engineering experience.
• Ability to read/write electrical and logic circuits.
• PLC, HMI hardware and programming knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial control components (switches, sensors, transducers,
transformers, power supplies, timers, counters, relays, AC motor starters).
• Motion Control (Servos and Steppers) hardware and programming knowledge preferred. Pneumatic Control experience beneficial.
• Computer / Internet literate. Adobe Acrobat experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Phone experience necessary.
• Sales experience in distribution industry a plus.
