Are you someone that loves analysis work? Are you well versed in the Development life cycle process?
Act as a liaison to the business community providing assistance to identify business processes, workflow, business requirements, and training. Plans and conducts the analysis of business processes and systems within a designated business unit, department, or group. Identifies and recommends cost-effective solutions to resolve business system problems and improve the business process.
• Work with the business to gather business requirements.
• Understand business process flow as it pertains to applications.
• Evaluate, clarify, and understand business requirements.
• Create/Update use cases, wire-frames, and prototypes.
• Create Technical Requirements documentation
• Participate in design reviews.
• Develop/Review test plans
• Execute testing processes, review testing results
• Work with developers during design, development, testing, production support
• Support preparation and actual execution for production cutover.
• Create user documentation, conduct user training
• Create run-book and production support documentation.
• Support production applications, including pager support
• Perform project administration tasks.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAINING:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience with web applications under BEA Weblogic
Knowledge in MQ, File transfer protocols, and multi-tiered development environments
Experience OOA and OOD
Minimum 3 years of experience in structured analysis and systems design
Knowledge in Project Management Methodologies
Minimum 4 years of technology project experience
Minimum 2 years of programming experience
Basic Project Management skills
Data Modeling exposure/experience
Basic Java, HTML, XML
Basic Unix Administration
Basic understanding of Internet Technology
