Hope it does not sound strange to you ladys that I want to learn how to cook. Now I do not burn water, and do know how to make a few things I just want to expand what I eat. I have been single now for about a year, do my own cooking on my George Forman Grill and Rottisory (sp). The microwave is great too. I have lived in my place and have never used the oven, cooked a few eggs on the burner but have never really made a nice meal. Can you help me?
I would like to learn how to make cassaroles (sp) learn how to spell, chicken cordon blu and all kinds of side dishes. It would be great to know how to cook Mexican and Soul foods.
A little about me - very soon to be 50, 5' 11" tall, weigh about 210 pounds ( guess you can tell I dont miss to many dinners ). Blonde greying hair, greenish blue eyes.
I have three grown kids all on their own, two boys and a girl, I also have two beautiful grandsons.
What do I like do do you might ask? - I like to do guy things, such as work on my car and truck. Fiddle around in the garage, blah blah blah. Take care of the yard, garden, I also like to get out and see things around town, go to garage sales, take a drive up or down the coast, go to the mountains ( no fun to do along though ). Help out the ones I love when ever they need it and even sometimes when they don't need it. In a couple of words - I think I am over all a nice guy. I live in Livermore, work full time in San Jose. I get off work at 3PM and normally get home by 4:30 PM. I rarely work weekends.
Now back to the cooking part, any lady out ther willing to teach me more about cooking? If so maybe we could meet first for coffee or a drink, possiblly get something to eat and get to know each other better. When it does come time for you to show me how to cook, you need to promise that I get to do all the clean up afterwards.
