Required Qualifications for GRE, GMAT, SAT, ACT and/or CBEST Instructors:
▪ Education: Completed Ph.D. (or equivalent) or Master's degree; or Current Ph.D. (or equivalent) or Master's student.
▪ Test Scores: Top-tier test scores on one of the following: GRE, GMAT, SAT, or ACT. Current university professors with a Ph.D. (or equivalent) from a ranked school are assumed to meet this requirement.
▪ Teaching Experience: Have taught at least one university semester/quarter class, and have prior experience as a university teaching assistant.
▪ Quantitative and Verbal Skills: Must have BOTH excellent math and verbal/writing skills. Sherwood Test Prep Instructors teach the entire course.
We seek stable instructors who can make a teaching commitment for at least one year. All classes are taught on weekends. We have concurrent sessions running throughout the year and instructors can teach anywhere from 3 to 13 hours per weekend.
▪ Salary: $40.00 per hour for GRE and GMAT class instruction; $30.00 per hour for SAT, ACT & CBEST class instruction.
Required Qualifications for LSAT Instructors:
▪ Education: Current Law Student or Completed J.D./LL.B.
▪ Test Scores: A Top-tier test score on the LSAT.
▪ Teaching Experience: Have experience as an instructor, trainer, or teacher. Prior teaching experience is required.
We seek stable instructors who can make a teaching commitment for at least one year. All classes are taught on Sundays from 10am - 2pm. We have four prep courses aligned with the four examination dates per year.
▪ Salary: $40.00 per hour for LSAT class instruction.
