Candidate must have at least five years experience working with Windows 2000/2003 networks, Internet Information Server 5, SQL 2000, Cisco networking hardware and high availability technologies in corporate and data center environments. Candidate should be proficient in time management, prioritization, issue tracking and resolution systems, as well as be detail oriented and produce quality documentation. Duties will include maintenance of 24/7 web farm and its back end systems. The position is also responsible for supporting the Safeway.com headquarters. The ideal applicant will have a broad background in n-tiered web architecture and integration of disparate systems. Although software development is not a direct requirement, the ability to read and understand Visual Basic, C#, and ASP/ASP.NET code is a must. - Windows NT/2000/2003 server configuration and support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with TCP/IP networks, RF and basic network troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of SQL.
- Understanding of Windows automated processes, basic scripting and backup management
- Ability to produce quality documentation.
- Experience with source control management systems a plus Related work experience:
- 5 years IT Systems experience in a Windows NT / 2000 / 2003 environment.
- 3-5 years in eCommerce or internet related field.
