Description Provide supervision and support to clients & staff in a residential setting to ensure compliance with program goals and maintain optimal care of clients in the programs.

Requirements:

Minimum:
3 years experience working with at-risk youth or adolescent children in a residential setting in a supervision role of a level 10 or higher.

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral or Social Sciences.
Must be 21 years or older
Must have clear criminal, driving & drug record

Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with Director initially in the hiring process.
Provide training, and supervision of Childcare staff.
Responsible for conducting second interviews onsite to determine if the applicant will be a viable fit for the position.
Sets up and implements the training schedule for the new staff.
Sets up personal file for residential house documentation.
Coordinates 16 hours of onsite one-on-one training using the counselor Training Manuel.
Supervises and develops overall Childcare staff training.
Provides training in weak or problem areas with individual counselors or teams as necessary.
Provides separation training and support prior to end of employment.
Reviews final Training Checklist with staff, and does 90 evaluation of new staff.
Meets regularly with each counselor to review and observe job performance and provide support.
Responsible for scheduling for their house
Does weekly supervision of time cards, controlling overtime hours by cutting back or adding on to individual shifts.
Inspects facility
Signs and reviews all payroll records.
Turns in timecards to payroll as necessary
Supervises all aspects of licensing requirements, records keeping, supplies, auto and house maintenance.
Maintains and ensures nutrition menu is posted & followed
Assist in program scheduling, working with Childcare staff to assure appropriate monthly schedule.
Reviews monthly activity calendar.
Acts as a liaison between administrative and counseling staff
Meets weekly with case manager to review progress in each home and targets for area of improvement.
Attend weekly administrative meetings.
Responsible for supporting & developing agency Polices and Procedures regarding assessment, treatment planning, and treatment modalities
Carries out directions, decision, philosophy, and administrative methods as established by Executive Direction.
Manages staff to ensure residents’ doctor’s appointments and school entrance issues to completion.
