Super Suppers is a national franchise for meal assembly, based in Ft. Worth, TX. We have one of the first bay area locations in the Almaden Valley of San Jose. We are located off Hwy 85 and Almaden Expwy.
Super Suppers offers an innovative new concept in healthy, no-hassle food made from recipes created by professional chefs. Super Suppers clients have delicious, home-cooked meals fast through hands-on food preparation sessions where clients can prepare and assemble a month’s worth of family dinners in only a few hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Food preparation workers are responsible for the preparation and assembly of ingredients for multiple recipes (12 recipes for each session) to be utilized in the assembly area by outside clientele. This position has direct contact with customers therefore each employee must feel comfortable with engaging and assisting customers throughout our sessions. This position requires repetitive tasks in the readying of ingredients for entrees, such as slicing and dicing vegetables, weighing and measuring ingredients, stirring and straining sauces, cutting meats, poultry, and seafood, as well as cleaning work areas and equipment, all done under the supervision of the store owner or manager. All food prep employees will be required to take shifts doing dishes and organizing the kitchen to maintain a clean work area.
REQUIREMENTS:
Food Prep workers do not need formal cooking experience, but a love of food is a plus. Eligible candidates may possess knife skills, food prep experience, or be a certified food handler. The candidate must be efficient, dependable, have great organizational and multi-tasking skills, be outgoing and have a serving heart.
COMPENSATION:
Dependent on experience and availability $9-12/ hour
HOURS AND WORK DAYS:
PART-TIME
DAYS: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
HOURS: Various shifts ranging from 8am to 10pm
