We're in the upper flat of our two flat home in Bernal Heights in SF. It feels like a perfect location. We walk to grocery stores, coffee shops, many choices of wonderful eating places. We're near routes 101 and 280. We're a block and a house away from buses; another block to trolley. Twenty minutes walk down Church Street to Noe Valley; both offer more coffee shops, more grocery stores, more restaurants and shops.
We are lucky enough to have 19 windows and have fabulous views out of most of them of the cityscape, Twin Peaks, of the Bernal Hills.
It is perfect for one or a couple. We've sublet before when we've travelled;
to visiting grandparent, friends of friends, people just moving to the city. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and linens provided. Double living room, one with fireplace and both have fabulous view through 9 windows. Wood floors throughout (kitchen and pantry, too). Bath with clawfoot tub. Eat in kitchen that goes across the back of the house with windows and panoramic views. Gas stove, dishwasher and things you need are supplied. Washer and dryer.
Enchanting garden with birds singing. Arbor with fence covered with sweet smelling Jasmine. It's calm and green and private inside. The wisteria may be in bloom.
The overall feel is LIGHT, AIRY, CLEAN, CHARMING AND UPLIFTING.
In the past we've rented for $125. a night which includes all util and DSL. But we've either rented for 2 weeks or for three or four months with a price less than $125. a night. I'm open to discussing price. We have had wonderful experiences with other renters and find it a joy to share a space we love so much with another responsible person. Sorry, no pets as we have a cat.
