An experienced production stage manager is sought to participate in an extraordinary theatrical collaboration this spring.
We are a group of serious, experienced and committed artists who are used to doing all of the stage-management jobs ourselves. This production, however, is on a huge scale and requires someone who knows how to help us keep things organized and in check.
This production will take place at the Albany Bulb -- an incredible outdoor site full of unique art instalations and an amazing view of the bay -- and this production, featuring music and dance, stiltwalkers, puppets, actual boats, and a big banquet at the end, is going to be a truly unique experience.
This is a great opportunity to become involved in a collaboration that will include many artists from many different communities in the Bay Area, and to gain experience stage managing a large-scale (and likely high-profile) production.
We are starting rehearsals within the next couple of weeks, and the show goes up for 2 weekends at the end of may.
