Kids Take The Stage, Inc., an East Bay nonprofit theater company for kids, is looking for a stage manager for its upcoming Winter and Spring productions, Pinnochio and Hansel & Gretel. The requirements of the job will entail managing a two person production crew and overseeing 8-16 student actors ages 7-14. Other requirements will include managing set up and break down of every production, calling all shows, and reporting to the Artistic Director every few days on the progress of each show.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Atleast one year or more experience stage managing musical or youth theater and working with kids ages 6-16. Ability to work well with others and ability to handle a high level of responsibility is a MUST. CPR certified applicants are a plus! The position requires the candidate to commit three days in April and fifteen days in May. Below are the date requirements for the stage manager position. All potential applicants MUST be available to work all of the dates listed for the relevant position, and we are unable to accommodate mixing and matching dates between positions.
