Reporting to the VP, Ecommerce & Product Management, the Sr. User Interface Designer will lead efforts to continuously improve the look, feel and functionality of our web sites for several brands. Using quantitative and qualitative analysis you will initiate and execute changes to the site to improve customer acquisition and retention.
We have several brands and sites presented in multiple languages and domains that combine to provide the widest selection of art, prints, posters, framing and related products and services worldwide. Servicing all sites, you will lead a team to provide continuous improvement with measurable results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize user centric design principles to create advanced user interfaces for web based applications.
• Recommend new strategies, innovative ideas and technologies that can improve online user experience.
• Ownership of several online applications and feature-set versioning.
• Analyze web site data, leverage industry practices and informal focus groups to drive site changes and improvements.
• Generate requirements document, business rules, use cases, wire frames and flow diagrams to support interactive interfaces.
• Administer and monitor A/B testing as well as other conversion diagnostic techniques.
• Develop a team culture of testing and innovation.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years experience in consumer internet and/or e-commerce experience and/or online interface designs.
• Experience leading, conducting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative studies of Internet buyer behavior.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Results driven, ability to initiate and lead projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to learn with an insatiable curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, creative and entrepreneurial vision.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously; with a great attention to detail, operates with urgency, focus and discipline.
• Understanding of e-Commerce and internet business metrics strongly desired; ability to work effectively with IT and other internal departments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; a team builder and has the personality to be effective across multiple divisions.
• Strong interest in the internet, consumer marketing and/or retail businesses.
• Experience with prototyping tools (such as Visio, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Undergraduate degree required; Masters or PhD in Computer Interaction or related field a plus.
