LiveDeal is looking for a seasoned Sr. Systems Architect in web hosting industry to provide technical leadership for our architecture group.
Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative technical solutions that meet online market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Drive technical designs and provide necessary guidelines to achieve efficiency in decision making
• Review external technologies for their applicability to specific project requirements. Must be able to compare various solutions and select the one most appropriate for the project and company.
Job Requirements:
• In-depth experience with Linux and Internet Technologies and web hosting
• Applicants must have experience building complex multi-tier, distributed, scalable and mission-critical production systems.
• Experience in architecting sites with high availability and high volumes.
• Experience in eCommerce, consumer marketing (B2C), or closely-related application development projects.
• Good understanding of the functionality of routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, hardware load balancers. Familiarity with common network topologies, protocols, and tools; familiarity with common network security risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• MS in CS or related field.
• Solid presentation and leadership skills.
• Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus.
• Startup experience in web hosting highly desired.
• Must have a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
