We are currently looking for an intelligent, independent, talented, and experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong command of SilkTest to work as a senior member of our software Quality Assurance team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute regression, usability, stress, database verification, security using variety of QA automation tools including but not limited to SilkTest.
• Work closely with software developers, production support and product managers on the troubleshooting and verifying bugs, as well as on design of internal and external applications.
• Participate in development of internal QA tools, test harness and integrate those into development and build processes.
• Develop and maintain internal technical documentation relevant to the QA processes and procedures.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong emphasis on automation.
• Great command and in-depth knowledge of QA automation tools, techniques, processes, and technologies.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of development complex SilkTest programs for web applications or 2-3 years development experience in Java / C++ with working knowledge of SilkTest. Please, understand we are looking for Silk Developer not someone who just used record / playback features.
• In-depth knowledge of testing web-enabled application (HTTP / HTTPS / Cookies / Browser behavior / JavaScript / HTML / etc.).
• Knowledge of Relational Databases and hands-on experience with SQL and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of some source control tool like CVS.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with J2EE technologies.
• Working knowledge of application servers such a Weblogic, JBoss, TomCat.
• Experience in middleware testing of Web Services, SOAP, XML, AXIS.
• Experience with performance testing and tuning.
• Experience with Internet security, web services, application integration is a great plus.
• Development experience in Java / C++ or white box testing is a plus.
• Hands on experience and basic understanding of Java build process.
• Understanding of release management and push to production is a plus.
