TrueCredit is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our team in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Responsibilities:
•Maintenance of current implementations
•Analyze and document long-range database resource requirements
•Analyze database performance and provide proactive corrective action
•Troubleshoot database problems and provide recommendations for short and long term resolution
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
•6-8 years experience as DBA with Oracle on UNIX, LINUX and NT systems
•Experience in: Oracle Parallel/Clustering/Replication; production performance/load tuning; capacity planning; maintenance, back-up, monitoring; database security enforcement; disaster recovery hot site failover/failback.
•Strong Oracle 9/10g knowledge
•Database problem solving skills
•Effective communication skills for interaction with development, production personnel, management and engineering personnel
